A Louisiana woman has been praised for assisting a police officer who was in need of a vehicle to chase a shoplifting suspect. Slidell Police Department said that Sgt Jeff Kahrs was notified on November 1 of “a shoplifting in progress”. He approached the suspect, later identified as 34-year-old Kelsey Baird, who ran out of the store.
