Yesterday , 18 July 2024 the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) at its policy meeting, set the cutoff marks at a record low of 140 and 100. Can this be a result of poor academic performance by students recorded in this year’s UTME? Over the years, it has been a decline of the varsities cutoff from 180 to 160, to 150 and now 140.
