EL ARAJ EXCAVATION 2025 - Day 3 Today we finally started to dig! Pay attention to the ground - we're at ground level, no sign of any digging, right? Wait until you see what happens over the next few days! This site sits just east of where the Jordan River flows into the Sea of Galilee, about 1 o'clock on the lakeshore. A quick-moving fire scorched the area in July - but miraculously(?) left the old Byzantine church (you'll see more about it in an upcoming post) completely unaffected! Plus fire b
