Workbench mats! Anyone tried this ULINE mat? : r/Workbenches
I'm in the market for a protective mat for the top surface of my workbench. Has anyone found a relatively cheap one they love? I have found tons of crafts mats out there but none are as perfect as this ULINE one. I just haven't been able to pull the trigger on a $90 mat. My bench is 36" x 72" and this mat is absolutely perfect at 28" x 60"

Feb 23, 2021 · I am looking to put some rubber gym mats on top of some vinyl flooring for a home gym. I'm thinking 1/2" rubber is ideal given that I want to do Olympic weightlifting and drop the weight on the floor while protecting the hardwood. Based off my research 1/2" rubber mats like this should suffice.

Mar 10, 2021 · I have gone through 2 mats so far. Both of them ended up with divots or depressions where the wheels of my chair are, which makes rolling around or moving spots a nightmare. I try to switch spots and end up rolling back into the depressions. Anyone have any suggestions? My carpet is medium pile and I weigh around 230 lbs.

Sep 17, 2022 · The chair mat is not there so much for the carpet as for the function of the chair with wheels, so align your brain to that schema. I went through pricey plastic chair mats you find at office depots and was not satisfied as they crack over time. I was a bit scared to get a glass one as my brain says it will busting into 10,000 pieces.

Jan 7, 2024 · I have an A0 cutting mat but it's too small for some of my projects. I don't need grids on my mat, just something I can cut on and that is self healing. The uline mats say they're self healing, but the description mentions protecting against scratches, scuffs, and dents. Doesn't mention anything about cutting. Thanks!

Feb 16, 2023 · I've tried a nice black chair mat from American Floor Mats, that one lasted 7 months. Then a clear mat from a random seller on Amazon. 6 months, and it was badly cracked. Currently on a "heavy-duty" clear mat from Lowe's, and that's cracking too. Is this just normal wear and tear? I should plan on replacing my chair mat every six months?

People on her are spending thousands on equipment and then taping stall mats together on their floor. If you’re on a budget, every dollar counts. Absolutely.
