Apr 18, 2008 · I found another list of the same statistical counters in the DF1 protocol command reference (1770-6.5.16, I think) and in the RSLinx online help file. But a lot of the DH+ diagnostic counters have to do with the token-passing mechanism of DH+, and that's the part that is proprietary to A-B, and they don't describe or publish.

Aug 21, 2014 · I am upgrading a system that currently uses RSLinx CLassic Professional (v2.43.01.23) to read/write data from a PLC. As this system was commissioned in 2006, I don't have much information on the PLC, other than it is an Allen Bradley device. I believe that the RSLinx connects to RSLogix 5000 (~v14/v16) on the PLC.

May 27, 2011 · I use RSLinx Classic Gateway to great effect with Virtual Machines; Gateway can sit on my host OS or even on a lonely XPSP2 box equipped with PCMCIA and RS-232 ports, and my VM's can access those RSLinx Classic drivers that don't run on a virtualized platform (like the PIC and PCMK drivers) or on Windows 7 (like the SmartGuard USB driver).

In a separate issue from my other issue, RSLinx Gateway is running on my Windows 7 64 system (and it shows in the titlebar), but under the communications menu, I have no option for "Configure Gateway". This option DOES appear in my VM session, however.
