The RTX 3060 Ti is targeted at definite 1440p gaming with 60 FPS and entry-level 4K at lower details or with DLSS enabled. Raytracing is a core focus of NVIDIA's Ampere lineup, too.

Jul 5, 2022 · I have an EVGA 3060 Ti FTW Ultra Gaming (was $539.99) in one of my PCs & a Gigabyte 3060 ti Eagle OC (was $419.99) in my other PC and the performance of the EVGA is only like 1-2% better and the the temps and noise is about the same.

Nov 21, 2023 · I think that you should pick the 4060 ti over the 3060 ti if they are the same price. Even if the newer one has a smaller bus it still performs about 10% better in gaming from what I have seen. As for the video editing the 8 GB VRAM might be a slight issue when dealing with larger files but nothing world ending.

In fact I don't think a 3060 or 3060 Ti is ever worth it if you're in the USA. I have seen used A4000 go on sale for $425 at the hardwareswap subreddit and $480 on ebay. So if you pay slightly more you can get a card that at its worse is akin to a 3060 Ti …

Jun 20, 2023 · Looked into 4070/ti and decided those prices were batshit crazy for the amount of performance uplift compared to last gen. My 3060ti powers my aw3423dwf pretty well. There's obviously a lot it can't do, but it's acceptable and gets playable fps in the most demanding titles on high settings while still knocking out 120-165 in less demanding titles.

Mar 14, 2022 · I personally have the Gigabyte 3060 ti gaming oc pro (rev 3.0) and I’m very happy overall, although the RGB software (RGB fusion) sucks. If I were you I’d go for the ASUS TUF for sure I’ve heard great things about that cards thermals and noise performance plus there’s plenty of headroom for overclocking if that interests you down the line.

Dec 13, 2022 · The 3060 Ti is powerful enough to run Ray Tracing on moderate settings (which will look better than Raster on highest settings) even on demanding titles like Cyberpunk. It's also powerful enough to run games like Portal RTX with the correct settings. About RAM, I still haven't run out of vram on my 3060 Ti.

Mar 8, 2023 · Which brand is the best to get? I saw asus, msi, and lots of others. Also one big thing is that there is a 3 fan one and a 2 fan one and I’m like 90% that the 3fan one is just a little too big for my case.
