Saint Francis Hospital buyer faces skeptical audience at town hall
Nov 18, 2024 · Many people who spoke at a Saturday town hall meeting were leery of what the impending sale of Ascension Saint Francis Hospital to Ontario, California-based Prime Healthcare would mean for patients. The town hall, organized by Mayor Daniel Biss and Rep. Robyn Gabel, was held at the Levy Senior Center and lasted nearly two hours.

The district passed a $113.4 million budget in September, up 7.8% from last year.. In Evanston, more than half of each property tax bill goes toward the two school districts: 41% of the money goes to District 65, 26% to ETHS and 17% to the city government.
City announces two hours of free parking daily during holidays
