Seems like an oversight to have a 50GB limit, news to me it has that actually, could see the signs game sizes were only gonna increase, seems there's been some minor improvement with not needing duplicate assets when needing a HDD in the past, but it doesn't seem it happens often, and maybe higher res textures/assets makes up for that anyway.

I've built up a solid collection of disc copies including Silent Hill 2 and Dragon Age and can't play either because Amazon, Smyths, Curry's and what looks like every store imaginable does not have any in stock. I even had a hard time finding a vertical stand.

Nov 2, 2024 · Some games allow PS5 Pro to select the standard modes, even if they're inferior to the Pro mode(s). This is shown by standard modes having both open and filled numbers. For Game Boost entries, all the numbers will be filled. That's because the Pro is literally using the exact same modes as standard PS5, just usually running better.

Jan 10, 2022 · In the UK I bought a PS5 that came with a controller, and then separately bought a second controller from Amazon. One of my controllers got a broken spring. I don't know if it was the controller that came with the console or the one from Amazon, but I sent the broken one back to Amazon regardless, with no issue. Ignorance was bliss in my case!

Nov 14, 2024 · My first ps5 had zero fan noise but really annoying coil whine. I bought a second one (GoW:R bundle) that has some fan noise and really low coil whine. My Pro has the same fan noise from the second ps5, and no audible coil whine. I'm really bothered by coil whine, so I'll call myself lucky either way this one.
