Feb 17, 2021 · Or hydro oil from another mower manufacturer that has made their oil specific for mowers? I am a big fan of synthetic, but i am not sure the scag would benefit from synthetic since much of the oil in the system can’t be changed and the reservoir is so big.

Oct 30, 2001 · My local oil distributer said all DTE 26 oils are the same and are identical to any of the oils that say AW 68; AW ISO 68; or just ISO68. MY oil dist. has been in the business for 45 years, so he ought to know. I bought a 5 gal. bucket of Duraguard ISO68 for 20.00. Thats a lot cheaper than the high dollar GH oil.

Feb 25, 2021 · Have heard that Mobil one had to change their oil to meet EPA standards and now is not recommended for use in the Toro for hydraulic oil. one should now use Toro/Exmark brand hydraulic oil. Without looking it up I believe my Toro Z400 uses 15w50 hydraulic oil.
