This often involves enacting and enforcing rules and regulations governing human activity in many areas - such as hunting and fishing, operating boats, possessing captive wildlife and dealing with nuisance animals.

If you come across wildlife you think may be injured or orphaned, you should note the location and contact a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator in your area. If you cannot reach a Licensed Wildlife Rehabilitator, you can also contact the appropriate FWC Regional Office for assistance.
