When Team Sweden assistant GM Patric Hornqvist called Rickard Rakell back in December to let him know he didn’t make their initial roster for the 4 Nations Face-Off, of course, he was disappointed. But the forward didn’t let it affect his play in the slightest.

Penguins winger Rickard Rakell has been named a late addition to Team Sweden for the coming Four Nations Face-Off, which begins in Montreal next week. Rakell is replacing injured Vegas Golden Knights forward William Karlsson.
