After snowfall stopped on Thursday, Oklahoma City crews are preparing to treat roads and plow snow ahead of anticipated snowfall on Friday. Crews are asking drivers who plan to be out on the roads to drive carefully and avoid unnecessary travel if possible.

Chris Daniels, the street superintendent for the city of Oklahoma City, said 25 plow trucks are working to clear roads because of the depth of snow. Their goal is to get emergency snow routes, which you can find here, cleared so they can get salt down and let it do its work.
