Liverpool have confirmed the club’s first permanent transfer of the January 2025 transfer window, although it’s regarding a departure from Anfield rather than a new signing.

Liverpool on Monday announced that goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga has agreed a permanent transfer from Anfield to his former club Fluminense. The Reds disclosed this in a statement via their website.
