Brenden Schooler was set to be the lone New England Patriots player at this year's Pro Bowl Games in Orlando, but has dropped out due to an injury.

Patriots special teams ace Brenden Schooler, who earned his first career Pro Bowl nod and All-Pro selection this year, will not participate in this year’s games due to injury. Instead, he will be replaced by the Pittsburgh Steelers' Miles Killebrew as the AFC’s core special teamer selection.

A Steelers special team ace has been added to the 2025 Pro Bowl Games roster. Miles Killebrew wasn’t initially named a pro bowler earlier in January, but he will now represent the Black and Gold during the annual AFC vs. NFC showdown. Killebrew is replacing Patriots special teamer Brenden Schooler, who cannot participate due to injury.

The special teams captain for the Pittsburgh Steelers is named to the Pro Bowl Games for a second straight year.

On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers announced safety and special teams star Miles Killebrew had been added to the roster for the 2025 Pro Bowl Games.

Christian Gonzalez and Brenden Schooler were each named All-Pros by The Associated Press for the 2024 season on Friday. Gonzalez was placed on the second team, receiving 32 total points in the vote. As he received four first-place votes, Gonzalez edged out Browns cornerback Denzel Ward by nine points for the final All-Pro spot.

Steelers defensive back Miles Killebrew is going back to the Pro Bowl. Killebrew was selected as the AFC's special teams player at the end of the 2023 season and the Steelers announced on Wednesday that he'll be heading to this year's edition as a replacement.
