ALVIN, Texas (KIAH) - Walt Disney Elementary School in Alvin ISD was almost completely reduced to rubble by an EF-2 tornado that ripped through Brazoria County on Saturday December 28, 2025.

Alvin ISD officials said at the board of trustees Jan. 14 meeting. In the meantime, officials are still waiting on insurance assessments from the tornado damage, which took place on Dec. 28.
