Another 'yellow' alert has been issued for Himachal Pradesh where rains have blocked nearly 50 roads. Meanwhile light rain has been predicted for Delhi, Rajasthan and Jammu.

The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a red alert for regions across Maharashtra, Konkan Goa, and Gujarat, warning of heavy rainfall. Senior IMD scientist Naresh Kumar stated that "extremely heavy rainfall" will continue in these areas due to a westward-moving cyclonic circulation.

With isolated heavy rain projected for these regions, officials are urging residents to remain cautious and prepared. The agency has also highlighted a moderate flash flood risk for several areas in the south Gujarat region and the coastal areas of Konkan and Goa.

The IMD has issued a red alert for Nashik, while orange alerts have been placed for Palghar, Pune, Nandurbar, and Dhule. Additionally, nearly every city in Maharashtra is under a yellow alert for the day.
