As New Orleans gropes for a response to last week’s massacre on Bourbon Street, city officials are turning again to New York City for expertise — this time tapping a legend of American policing.

NOPJF, a nonprofit organization, has contracted Teneo to lead a public safety assessment of the city. The Teneo team will be led by risk and security expert William J. Bratton.
