The Tirupati temple trust announced it has restored the sanctity of its prasad amid concerns of adulteration, asserting the purity of Srivari laddu remains intact and reaffirming its commitment to uphold the ‘holiness of Laddu Prasadam’ for devotees.

The laddu row began with Andhra CM Chandrababu Naidu slamming the previous YSRCP regime for the alleged use of substandard ingredients and animal fats in the Tirupati laddu.

CM Chandrababu Naidu said he will consult religious experts for guidance on further action while Deputy CM Pawan Kalyan announced an 11-day penance to atone for the alleged desecration.

In a social media update on Friday night, the TTD, which oversees the Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple at Tirumala, affirmed that the divinity and purity of the Srivari Laddu are now completely intact.
