The French gaming conglomerate Ubisoft is permanently closing down its UK-based studio, Ubisoft Leamington, which is based in Leamington Spas. A Ubisoft spokesperson confirmed that the Ubisoft Leamington studio shutdown was part of a broader plan to restructure the company.

In December, Ubisoft closed its offices in San Francisco and Osaka and reduced production in Sydney, leading to the loss of 277 jobs.
