Climate and clean energy drew Inslee’s intense focus, while critics point to the state’s troubles in education, homelessness and ferries.

Also touching on the incoming Trump Administration, Inslee said, "We will not bend the knee to a would-be authoritarian's worst impulses."

Inslee has been Washington State's Governor for the past 12 years.
