Fox is arriving late to the streaming party with a new service set to launch by the end of the year.

Fox Corp. Executive Chairman Lachlan Murdoch told Wall Street analysts Tuesday that his company will launch a direct-to-consumer streaming product that will draw on its news and sports assets.

Fox Corp is planning to launch a subscription-based streaming service by the end of 2025, the media company said on Tuesday, entering the Netflix-dominated arena to tap audiences outside its mainstay cable television business.
