Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher, who stepped down from the U.S. national team late last year after winning a gold medal at the Paris Olympics, was named the 2024 U.S.

Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher was named the 2024 U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year, the sport's national governing body said on Saturday, becoming only the second goalie in 40 years to claim the honour.

Goalkeeper Alyssa Naeher has been awarded the 2024 U.S. Soccer Female Player of the Year after a standout year. The award is based on a weighted vote from National Team coaches, National Team players who earned a cap in 2024,

Utah Royals forward and youth national team standout Ally Sentnor has been named the 2024 U.S. Soccer Young Female Player of the Year. The 20-year-old Sentnor is currently training with the U.S. senior national team in Florida as part of the team's annual January camp.

The Penn State product won 13 of her 18 games and had 11 shutouts in her final year playing for the national team, including the run to the Olympic gold medal.
