Lucid's new SUV gains access to Tesla Superchargers on January 31.

It’s been just about a month since the first Lucid Gravity SUVs began arriving to customers, but the automaker is already rolling out a change that promises to be a major ease of use improvement for owners.

All U.S.-bound Lucid Gravity SUVs have the Tesla-based NACS port, and charging at up to 400 kw assures 200 miles of range in 12 minutes.

Basically every single automaker is switching to the Tesla-style NACS port for upcoming electric vehicles, including many facelifted or new EVs hitting the market in 2025. The first non-Tesla car to actually go on sale in the U.

The Gravity’s booster-equipped rear motor allows it to “charge seamlessly at up to 400 kW on 1000V charging equipment and at sustained speeds of up to 225 kW on 500V architecture fast chargers, including Tesla V3 Supercharger,” Emad Dlala, VP of Powertrain, said in a statement.

Owners of the electric Lucid Gravity SUV will gain access to Tesla’s Supercharging network starting January 31.  The Gravity is Lucid’s second vehicle
