For Oklahoma City’s specifically, fans will get their first look at the new uniforms on Sunday, Nov. 17 against the Dallas Mavericks. As announced by the Thunder, the 2024-25 version of the uniform’s design completes a two-year story arc reflecting Oklahoma City’s evolving landscape, growth, and momentum.

The 11th of those 17 players to wear No. 8 did so in the Oklahoma City Thunder era, OKC point guard alum Ish Smith. After ending his college career with Wake Forest, Smith went unselected in the 2010 NBA draft, and instead was picked up by the Houston Rockets as a free agent.
