Wayne Rooney has revealed that he has told Marcus Rashford to leave Manchester United and says he was ’embarrassed’ to see the England forward training on his own at Carrington last weekend. Rashford has already made it clear that he wants to leave United after he said in December that he is looking to find a ‘new challenge’ away from Old Trafford.

Ruben Amorim has said Manchester United are “a better team” with Marcus Rashford and that they need to score more goals. The England international has missed 11 straight games since being left out of the team for the victory over Manchester City on December 15.
