Everton's magnificent new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock opened its doors for the first time to 10,000 lucky Toffees fans successful in a ballot for an under-18s friendly against Wigan. Four years in the making and at an estimated cost of more than £750m, the club will move in fully over the summer in time for the start of the 2025-26 season.

Everton fans got a first taste of their future on Monday as the team's new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock held it's first test event.

Toffees fans can now look ahead to moving into their new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock next season, with the £550million ground able to fit in almost 53,000 fans, who will all be eager to make new memories at the site.

An official Everton supporters' group has written an open letter to officials to complain about a raft of transport issues it says developed on the night of the football club's first test event at its new stadium.
