Gateway Church denies the allegations made by a woman in a recent lawsuit that she was sexually assaulted and groomed by a high school senior at youth group activities when she was 13 years old.

Gateway Church has denied all allegations in a lawsuit filed by a former youth group member who accused the megachurch of turning a blind eye to her sexual assault at the hands another member when she was 13 years old.

The lawsuit, filed by a 13-year-old girl and her parents, alleges she was sexually assaulted at youth group meetings.

Gateway Church has responded to a lawsuit against it in new documents filed Friday, requesting a trial by jury and denying all the suit’s allegations.

In the lawsuit filed last August, Julia Long, the alleged victim, was 13 years old and attending Gateway Church youth group meetings at Kings University, a private evangelical university.
