Black Friday is starting more than a week early at Amazon. The retailer will begin offering holiday deals beginning Nov. 21 this year, with new specials hitting through Nov. 29 (the actual date of Black Friday in 2024).

Not everyone turned to early sales to grab deals. CNET's survey found that the same amount of shoppers (41%) will take advantage of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales. The later sales can give you more time to put money away for your shopping list -- but it's also worth waiting if you're looking to buy a big-ticket tech item or home appliance.
