On your computer, launch your browser and go to web.whatsapp.com. Now, launch WhatsApp on your phone. On Android, tap on the three-dot menu icon and select Linked devices.

There are now numerous remote access programs to choose from that will connect one computer to another across the web. What's more, a lot of the basic tools are free to use.

As with Linux, this is free to do, and it’s perfect if you spend most of your computing time in a web browser anyway. Use your computer for something else.
