Prior Lake’s victory over Eagan and Apple Valley defeating Lakeville South had the effect of further bunching the South Suburban Conference boys basketball standings.

The state Class AA True Team boys swimming and diving meet was a Lake Conference showcase, with teams from that league taking the top three places. That was no surprise, but South Suburban Conference teams Prior Lake, Eagan and Lakeville North earned valuable competitive experience against more than 250 of the state’s top athletes.
