Authorities have identified the man shot by Covington police during an armed bank robbery Friday afternoon. Kentucky State Police said 62-year-old Charles Davis, of Covington, was shot by city officers after being seen fleeing the U.S. Bank on the 600 block of Madison Avenue while armed with a weapon, according to a news release.

SAGINAW, MI — A Kentucky man must spend a few years in a Michigan prison for leading police on a high-speed chase through Saginaw County. Only after he’s served his term will he be sent back to the Bluegrass State to answer criminal charges.

Kentucky State Police are investigating after an 18-year-old was killed in a head-on crash Saturday night. The collision occurred just after 8 p.m. in Gallatin County on Kentucky Highway 1039 near the intersection of Knox Lillard Road. The victim was identified as Kyle Jones of nearby Ghent, Kentucky.
