A new wildfire was reported today at 11:33 p.m. in Los Angeles County, California. The wildfire has been burning on private land. There is no update on the containment of the fire and its cause has not yet been determined.

A massive tunnel under construction partially collapsed in Los Angeles County, trapping 31 workers 400 feet beneath the ground. All the workers were safely rescued.

The Los Angeles Fire Department rushed to Wilmington after a tunnel collapsed and trapped 27 people inside. Four other workers went in after the collapse to help the others. The construction workers inside the underground tunnel were rescued roughly an hour after the collapse,

A farmworker who was injured during an immigration raid in Southern California on Thursday has died, the United Farm Workers union said on Friday.
