Thousands of people are facing mandatory evacuation orders for the Airport Fire in Orange County, which grew to 9,333 acres by Tuesday afternoon as authorities expanded evacuations including some for areas of neighboring Riverside County.

The Orange County Fire Authority said a cold front is expected to bring light showers and cooler temperatures.
