Darren Mougey’s football journey is quite a story. He played quarterback in high school and then attended San Diego State. After two years at the college level as a QB, Mougey converted to wide receiver. He went on to catch 66 passes for 805 yards and six touchdowns in his final two seasons with the Aztecs.

Darren Mougey, a longtime Broncos scout and executive who became their assistant GM in 2022, is the new general manager of the Jets.

Mougey has spent more than a decade with Denver in a variety of roles, and was promoted to assistant GM in 2022.
