MSNBC has reportedly informed a majority of staffers who work on Rachel Maddow’s prime time opinion show that they are being let go as part of the network’s restructuring that resulted in the cancellation of Joy Reid’s program as well as those of other hosts.

The major shake-up at MSNBC continues to affect both on-camera talent and behind-the-scenes staff, with a new report claiming the majority of the team on Rachel Maddow‘s prime-time news show is being let go.

Maddow also pointed out Katie Phang's upcoming departure from her weekend slot in a rare rebuke of her own network's "indefensible" actions, she said.
