After one of its worst performances of the season against Indiana, Michigan State football's defense hopes to rebound coming out of the bye week.

There’s very little historical precedent for what IU’s defense accomplished against Michigan last week by holding its rival to 206 total yards. That’s the lowest total for the Wolverines in the rivalry in the 47 games they’ve played going back to 1960.

In the ACC, there were some big upsets last week. Miami is no longer undefeated as they fell on the road against Georgia Tech, and Pitt lost a home game against Virginia to lose their second consecutive contest. It was a tough week for teams at the top.
