Tom Pestock has taken to Twitter to comment on his debut match in GCW last night. The man formerly known as Baron Corbin was released from the WWE at the end of last year. This ended his 12-year tenure with the company that saw him win multiple titles,

GCW’s anticipated return to New York City’s Hammerstein Ballroom for Sunday’s The People vs. GCW saw several new champions crowned as well as the first post-WWE match for the former Baron Corbin.

At The People vs. GCW, Tom Pestock, formerly known as Baron Corbin, competed in his first post-WWE match when he faced Josh Barnett in a Bloodsport Match. They battled back and forth, and Barnett ultimately scored the submission victory.

At the time of his departure, Pestock had been with WWE for 12 years, having entered the developmental system in August
