The Maine State Labor Commission has lately received through the British Vice Consul at Port- land a request from a builder in England for information concerning the granite quarries of this State.

BANGOR, Feb. 1.-Never in the history of the granite industry in Maine were the quarries so rushed with work as they now are, and there is assurance of busy times for a year or two at least.
