Liam Payne's friend Roger Nores is suing the singer's dad for alleged defamation. Nores was charged with manslaughter in connection to Payne's death.

Liam Payne 's friend Roger Nores has filed a defamation suit against the singer's father, Geoff Payne. He claimed that his late friend's father smeared him in the media in the weeks after Payne's death, referencing the man's claim of Nores being negligent in taking care of the singer.

Roger Nores alleges Geoff Payne misrepresented his friendship with Liam Payne to a prosecutor, insists he “did not have a legal duty to Liam."

In a complaint, Nores claims he "did not have a legal duty to Liam" and that his friendship with the musician was misrepresented to an Argentine prosecutor

Geoff needs to backtrack on his sworn statement as he very well knows I wasn’t Liam’s nurse or care taker,” Nores tells Page Six.

Nearly three months after Liam Payne ’s death, his friend Roger Nores has reportedly named the singer’s father in a defamation lawsuit.
