The National Weather Service issued an updated winter weather advisory at 9:21 a.m. on Sunday in effect until Monday at 9 a.m. for Higher Elevations of Indiana and Fayette County.

An updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Monday at 10:41 a.m. EST in effect until Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST for Lake, Newaygo, Kent, Barry, Kalamazoo and Calhoun counties.

An updated winter weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Sunday at 5:33 a.m. valid from 10 a.m. until Monday 1 a.m. for Monmouth, Ocean and Burlington counties.

Bitterly cold temperatures are forecast across Indiana from 7 p.m. Sunday to 10 a.m. Wednesday, according to a cold weather advisory issued by the National Weather Service. By Monday, the daily high is expected to drop near 10 degrees, with wind chill indexes cold enough to cause frostbite on exposed skin within just 30 minutes.

CHICAGO — National Weather Service officials issued a cold weather advisory in effect until 2 p.m. Tuesday for portions of central, east central and northeast Illinois as well as northwest Indiana. Officials said dangerously cold wind chills may reach as low as 28 below zero causing frostbite to those exposed to the frigid temperatures in as little as 30 minutes.

The Cold Weather Advisory is in effect until midnight on Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.
