The Jammu and Kashmir Police, in coordination with Haryana Police and central agencies, have dismantled a major inter-state terror network linked to Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and al-Qaeda-affiliated Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind (AGuH).
In a major intelligence-based operation, th Commissionerate Police have busted a Pakistan-supported cross-border arms trafficking module, arresting seven operatives, including a juvenile, and recovering 15 sophisticated pistols from their possession.
Director General of Police (DGP), Punjab, Gaurav Yadav said that the arrested have been identified as Shamsher Singh alias Sima (30) and Amandeep Singh alias Bobby (23), Balwinder Singh alias Kaka (26), Gurdev Singh (40), Karanpreet Singh (19) and Harman Singh (19) and one 17-years-old juvenile.
