"The fire has been mapped at 55.7 acres with 0 percent containment," a Ventura County Fire Department spokesperson said.

Evacuation orders were expanded over the weekend for the Palisades Fire grew, but containment also grew. The expanded zone, 77 square miles, extended to Interstate 405 on Saturday, Jan. 11. As of Sunday, Palisades was at 23,713 acres (37 square miles) with 13% containment, the California Department of Forestry and Fire Protection said.

Lidia Fire: Estimated at nearly 350 acres in the Antelope Valley community of Acton. Sunset Fire: Estimated at about 40 acres in the Hollywood Hills.
