Veteran quarterback Teddy Bridgewater will step away from being a high school state champion coach and jump back into the NFL. He’s coming out of retirement to sign with the Detroit Lions, coach Dan Campbell confirmed Thursday.

Now, he’s reportedly unretiring and plans to rejoin Campbell and the Lions ahead of the playoffs, per the NFL Network. Bridgewater told the league’s broadcast network in recent weeks of his plans to try and sign with a team before the postseason, and it didn’t take long for him to land back in Detroit.
