Nearly all evacuation orders and warnings have been lifted for communities in Los Angeles and San Bernardino counties affected by the Bridge Fire after it recently became California's largest actively burning wildfire.

Bridge Fire initially started 2:12 p.m. Sep. 8 in Los Angeles, San Bernardino County. After being active for 16 days, it has burned 54,878 acres. A fire crew of 1,056 succeeded in containing 81% of the fire by Tuesday afternoon. Investigations into its cause are still ongoing.

All evacuations were officially lifted for Southern California residents who affected by the destructive Bridge Fire in San Bernardino and Los Angeles counties. KTLA's Shelby Nelson reports on.
