Earth's largest iceberg has run aground off the coast of South Georgia Island, a common rendezvous spot for big bergs, new satellite images show.

The United States satellite images displayed are infrared (IR) images. Warmest (lowest) clouds are shown in white; coldest (highest) clouds are displayed in shades of yellow, red, and purple.

Satellite imagery released by CIRA at Colorado State University (CSU) shows the trio - named Milton, Kirk and Leslie - as they were developing in the Atlantic Basin on Sunday.
