: Police said they have arrested Khaleel Latwain Rodgers, Jr., 28, after turning himself in Sunday evening following a shooting.

Officers were dispatched to Ten 10 at 2:39 a.m. where they found 33-year-old Damion Quayshaud Reed suffering from an apparent gunshot wound to his upper body. He was pronounced dead after being transported from the scene.

DANVILLE, Va. – UPDATE: Danville Police announced Sunday evening that Khaleel Rodgers was in custody at the Danville City Jail after turning himself into authorities. He faces charges of second-degree murder, use of a firearm in commission of a felony, and reckless handling of a firearm.

Danville Police are asking for the public’s help to find multiple men believed to have broken into a store Sunday morning. Around 7:30 a.m., police responded to a business on the 1400-block of south Main Street at the Southwick Plaza.
