The Loveland Police Department arrested a man suspected in a shooting that shut down part of Taft Avenue Friday night.

Colorado Springs police are investigating a shooting that took place Saturday on the city’s east side, officials said.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) - One person was shot at an apartment complex in eastern Colorado Springs. Police told 11 News they got a call from a neighbor at about 8:16 p.m. on Saturday. This was from someone on Powell point, they said, near Powers and N. Carefree, claiming they heard a gunshot.

A 23-year-old man suspected of fatally shooting a 7-year-old boy on a tribal reservation in Colorado earlier this month was captured in Utah.

The Denver FBI office is looking for a man wanted on a murder charge for a minor's death on a reservation in southwestern Colorado.

Police were called to a house in the 1600 block of Rushmore Drive just after 4 a.m. on reports of gunshots. They found a woman in an upstairs bedroom who had been shot in the arm. The suspect, identified as her 22-year-old son, had fled the home.
