Frontier Airlines starts direct flights from Paine Field on June 2, enhancing travel options and local economy.

A low-cost airline carrier is expanding its footprint to Paine Field in Everett, adding nine flights a week to Denver, Phoenix, and Las Vegas.

Frontier Airlines is adding a new pin for a somewhat surprising destination to its route map. The carrier announced on Tuesday that it'll start flying to Denver International Airport (DEN), Las Vegas' Harry Reid International Airport (LAS) and Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX) from Seattle Paine Field International Airport (PAE) on June 2.

Frontier Airlines will launch service from Seattle-area airport Paine Field in June. The discount carrier will fly three routes from Paine. Thrice-weekly flights to Denver, Las Vegas and Phoenix will begin on June 2. Frontier already flies to each of those destinations from Seattle-Tacoma Airport, 37 miles to the south of Paine Field.

Frontier Airlines is launching four new routes, including its first services from Seattle Paine Field and Puerto Plata, starting June 2, with fares as low as $29 each way.
