Two local duck hunters in North Carolina ended up discovering human remains during an outing earlier this week, police said.

Authorities are investigating after uncovering human remains on Monday evening. Some local duck hunters who were scouting at 5:49 p.m. made the haunting discovery. North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation and the Alexander County Sheriff's Office responded to the wooded area in Taylorsville.
