Auburn men’s basketball got its second commitment of its 2025 recruiting class on Tuesday, gaining a pledge from four-star guard Kaden Magwood.

Kaden Magwood, the No. 44 overall recruit in the country, has committed to Bruce Pearl and the Auburn Tigers, he tells 247Sports. The 6-foot-1 combo guard out of Charlotte (N.C.) Combine Academy committed to Auburn over NC State and Ole Miss.

Bruce Pearl has added a college-ready scorer to what could be an entirely new Tigers' roster for the 2025-26 season.

Originally from Louisville, Magwood heads to The Plains out of the Combine Academy in Charlotte. He is listed as measuring 6-1 and 170 pounds. On the 247Sports Composite, Magwood is rated 4-stars, the No. 1 player in North Carolina, No. 8 combo guard and No. 60 prospect overall in the 2025 recruiting class.
